Chathushka Amarasinghe is the Executive Assistant at TAU Investment Management, where she oversees administrative operations. Chathushka is a fully qualified tax professional and a CTA member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, with extensive experience in business advisory, corporate governance, and tax compliance.
Before joining TAU, Chathushka worked at KPMG, where she served as a Consultant in Corporate Governance & Enterprise Advisory. In this role, she offered strategic guidance to high-net-worth families in governance and succession planning while facilitating client workshops. Her earlier work in KPMG’s Tax & Regulatory division involved managing tax compliance for local and international businesses, as well as advising foreign investors in navigating Sri Lanka’s regulatory landscape.
Outside her professional career, Chathushka is a dedicated volunteer, supporting children with special needs and promoting environmental conservation. She was the only Sri Lankan youth delegate at the United Nations COP 18 Climate Change Conference in 2012, where she spoke on non-formal education and climate change.
Chathushka has a BBA specializing in International Business from Northwood University, Michigan (cum laude honors) and a BA in Humanities from the University of Kelaniya. She is also a ICASL Certified Tax Advisor.
