TAU advises Navis Capital on investment in Vietnam denim supplier

In a continuation of its efforts to transform global apparel supply chains, TAU Investment Management (TAU), recently provided critical industry insight and support to Navis Capital Partners for its investment into Saitex Holdings, a highly sustainable denim manufacturer based outside of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

In its announcement, Navis Capital Partners specifically recognized TAU’s role in identifying and introducing Navis as an investment partner for Saitex. TAU also provided critical support as an industry investment expert, advising Navis on commercial due diligence and other industry matters.

The deal was led by Ken Katz, TAU’s Head of Investments based in Hong Kong, who was instrumental in establishing a working relationship between TAU and Saitex while identifying and supporting growth opportunities for the company.

“The Saitex investment is perfectly aligned with TAU’s focus on growth investments that build value and upgrade the apparel supply chain,” said Katz. “We believe the industry is in the early stages of a fundamental shift towards high quality, sustainable, and tech-led manufacturers. Companies like Saitex represent the future of manufacturing in the apparel and textile industry. TAU continues to build our relationships with industry players and investors who reflect and understand these dynamics.”

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. For more information, see coverage about the investment announcement here.
